About

Continuing Education in Anaesthesia, Critical Care & Pain is published bimonthly and each issue contains structured, authoritative articles covering core knowledge, current controversies and future trends. Basic science is also included, but with a clinical emphasis. The senior authors are recognised specialists in the relevant field who also provide suggestions for further reading, key points and multiple choice questions.

Accreditation Statement

80% of questions must be answered correctly in order to complete a quiz successfully. CME within Continuing Education in Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain is accredited by the Royal College of Anaesthetists for two credits. Once a course has been completed successfully, a certificate for your e-portfolio may be obtained by submitting an evaluation.

Credit Designation Statement

Each course is associated with two RCoA credits.

Intended Audience

The intended audience consists of anaesthetists and others involved in anaesthesia, critical care and pain.

Objectives

The questions affirm knowledge and understanding of the topic covered. Participants should be able to evaluate the appropriateness of the clinical information as it applies to the provision of patient care.

Faculty disclosure

Authors are required to disclose all activities and relationships that, if known to others, might be viewed as a conflict of interest. Any such author disclosures are published with the article in Continuing Education in Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain.
